Politics in Pubs – Newcastle

The Newcastle group is co-ordinated by Mo, Martin, Paula and Caspar, who formed the group after meeting the Politics in Pubs team at the Battle of Ideas in Buxton.

Topics we’ve covered so far include Covid lockdowns, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, the monarchy, gambling, assisted dying and public trust in the news media – you can read about them on the ‘meetings’ page. The debates are often lively but always respectful, and are chaired to ensure that everyone gets a say. We’re a friendly group and always pleased to see new faces – so if you are in the area, please come along and join us for a drink and a chat!
