Sheffield – the new science on how the sexes relate at work, at play and in society

7 November 2024 , categories: Meetings, Sheffield

Steve Moxon will lead a discussion on Feminism, a topic he has researched and written on, including his book  ‘The woman racket : the new science explaining how the sexes relate at work, at play and in society.’:

“I will look into feminism as it’s the core of the whole neo-Marxian development over the past century, with race and sexual orientation not featuring until the New Left decided to co-opt ‘the ghetto’ in the late 1960s.  There is no manifestation anywhere or any such thing as male on female ‘oppression’ and/or negative attitude (prejudice), nor female vis-a-vis male disadvantage. Instead all ‘power’ relations are intra-sexual, and all social systems everywhere and throughout history are in the interests primarily of women & children, not men; this applying not least in cultures with some form of female cloistering, as this is female-female competition for high-mate-value male pair-bond partners, and not some imposition by males to control female reproduction”.

Come and join the discussion

You are warmly invited to join us at The Red Lion, 109 Charles St, Sheffield, S1 2ND, for our next meeting on Thursday 7th November 2024 at 19:00,(in the snug behind the bar).

We are growing!

We are expanding our activities via regional Politics in Pubs groups and have created a map where you can search for a group near you. If you live near Ilkley we have members starting a new group, so please let us know if this of interest.

Don’t worry if you can’t find anything nearby as you can start your own group. If you would like to be put in touch with other people interested in talking about politics, please reply to this email letting us know your location and we’ll help to get the conversation started.

We have also started to grow our network with other free speech groups who have a similar interest in open discussion and debate. If you have such a group and want to appear on our map please get in touch.
