Newcastle – From Anger to Action: Holding Power to Account
What can we actually do about wasteful spending and government overreach?
In this discussion, Benjamin Elks from the TaxPayers’ Alliance will share how grassroots pressure can make a real difference – from exposing local waste to influencing national policy.
Drawing on the TPA’s campaigns and successes, he’ll offer practical ideas for how ordinary people can push for change and hold decision-makers to account. It’ll be a chance to go beyond the problems and focus on what works – and how we can all play a part in making government more transparent, efficient, and accountable.
